Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator to a local team in Walla Walla. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the operations by safely and efficiently operating various heavy machinery. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and backhoes in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist in site preparation and cleanup as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a construction or industrial setting.
- Must have experience operating bulldozers and excavators.
- Valid driver's license and appropriate certifications for heavy equipment operation.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
