Residency Status ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE A US CITIZEN Clearance ALL CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS AN ACTIVE TSSCI wCI poly No Clearance Upgrades Time Type Shift Work Daytime Schedule 100 Onsite Travel Reimbursement Yes Company Benefits Yes Salary Range 70k to 120k Please note The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary Additional factors considered in extending an offer include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities Which are all at the discretion of the employer Company Overview NAOVI Novel Applications Inc is a premier technology services company that provides solutions in the areas of Cyber Security Information Management and Systems Integration NAOVI is a business that combines experience creativity flexibility pragmatism and cost effective solutions in order to deliver measurable business value to our clients Headquartered in Fredericksburg Virginia NAOVI employs engineers analysts IT specialists and other professionals who strive to be the best at everything they do NAOVI is an AAEEO Employer MinoritiesWomenVeteransDisabled Job Description NAOVI is seeking a Journeyman Freedom of Information Act FOIA Analyst to assist the government with the following task Primary responsibilities Respond to public and official requests for review and release of classified andor sensitive agency information under the Freedom of Information Act FOIA Privacy Act PA Executive Order EO 13526 Classified National Security Information and appropriate IC policies and proceduresResponding to complex cases such as those including FOIA litigation and FOIA appeals demonstrating extensive knowledge of the FOIA and PA exemptions and administrative requirementsConduct Mandatory Declassification Review MDR and Automatic Declassification Review ADR in accordance with EO 13526Coordinate taskings searches and document collection activities across internal IC agency components and external government agenciesValidate adequacy of record searches and ensure all relevant facts are accurately captured in case documentationConduct thorough review of case files to ensure all required actions such as search confirmations consultations document reviews and correspondence are complete and properly documentedMonitor case progress to ensure compliance with all deadlines and coordinate workflow with government leaders and other stakeholdersProvide high quality grammatically error free work requiring minimal government editingSubmit signed final response letters to requesters and close cases within three business days of government approvalTrack and update the status of cases in a timely and accurate manner using agency tools as identified by the GovernmentProvide inputs to annual compliance reports as directed by the GovernmentIn accordance with applicable law and at Government direction ensure that the agencys information which has been cleared for public release is available for public inspection andor copyingdownloading Required Education and Experience All candidates Must currently possess an Active TSSCI with CI Polygraph security clearance for consideration RequiredCandidates without the required security clearance will Not be considered for this position At this time our company does Not sponsor candidates for security clearances Selected candidates must have BSBA 5 years of FOIA experience required or 9 years of FOIA experience with no degree Demonstrated experience supporting FOIA PA MDR andor ADR case processing including coordination documentation drafting correspondence and interacting with requesters Strong ability to review sensitive government records and ensure compliance with disclosure privacy and classification requirements Excellent written communication skills with a proven ability to produce error free professionally formatted documents Proficiency with case management tools and document handling systems; experience with IC or agency systems is a plusExceptional attention to detail and ability to accurately document case actions Preferred FOIA Skills Experience with FOIA case management within the Intelligence Community Familiarity with FOIA records tracking systems Background in legal paralegal compliance or records management disciplines Prior experience drafting official correspondence and coordinating with multiple government entities Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines Company Benefits 401k Health Dental and Vision Long Term and Short Term Disability 3 Weeks Paid Vacation 5 Day Paid Sick Leave 11 Paid Holidays Travel Reimbursement 50 mile radius to work location #J-18808-Ljbffr Novel Applications of Vital Information
