HR Generalist

We're seeking a skilled HR Generalist in Stockton, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing employee relations, compliance, leave administration, and day-to-day HR operations while making a meaningful impact on employees and leadership alike.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Administering employee leave programs, including FMLA, Workers' Compensation, military leave, and other protected leaves
• Supporting employee relations matters, including documentation, investigations, and issue resolution
• Coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes
• Assisting with HR compliance initiatives, policies, grievances, and employee training requirements
• Supporting recruiting and hiring activities as needed
• Assisting with benefits administration and open enrollment activities
• Working within union contract guidelines and attendance management processes

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of progressive HR experience
• Strong HR Generalist background across multiple HR disciplines
• Experience with leave administration and employee relations
• Working knowledge of HR compliance and employment practices
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• SHRM certification or HR-related degree is a plus
