Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Float Pool) – Nights

Location

Tucson, Arizona

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Float between multiple facilities within the healthcare system as assigned
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and adherence to unit protocols
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
• Must be willing to float between departments and multiple facilities

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a float pool or multi-facility travel assignment
• Familiarity with a 6:1 patient ratio environment
