Electro-mechanical Production Technician

Yoh is seeking a hands‑on Electro‑mechanical Production Technician to support the assembly, integration, and testing of complex electromechanical and optical instrumentation. This individual will play a key role in building next‑generation systems used in cutting‑edge life sciences applications. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, technically skilled, and thrives in a fast‑paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble, integrate, and test electronic, electro‑mechanical, opto‑mechanical, and optical sub‑assemblies Perform basic troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and optical systems Partner with NPI and Manufacturing Engineering teams to resolve material quality and design issues (NCR/MRB processes) Execute production operations to ensure product integrity and quality standards are met Prepare and package finished instruments for shipment Perform maintenance and calibration on production equipment Participate in 5S and continuous improvement (CIP) initiatives Identify and elevate production issues to leadership or engineering teams Follow established procedures and work instructions for assembly, integration, and testing Maintain a safe work environment and report any unsafe conditions Qualifications Associate’s degree (2-year) or 1+ years of technician experience in capital equipment or related production environment Hands‑on experience assembling and/or testing complex electromechanical or optical systems Experience using hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, soldering equipment, wiring tools, etc.) Basic troubleshooting skills across electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and prioritization skills Effective communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, and standard PC‑based systems Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs Familiarity with GMP, GLP, ISO 9001, and quality systems (QMS) Experience with cable building, soldering, and wiring Estimated Min Rate $32.00 Estimated Max Rate $36.00 What’s In It for You?
