Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - Critical Care

Job Requirements Job Summary: Under the direction of the Medical Director Critical Care Services, the Critical Care Physician Assistant will assist attending ICU physicians in all aspects of general hospital care for critical care patients. All work will be performed in close collaboration with attending physicians responsible for the patient. The Critical Care PA will be credentialed through the Maryland Board as well as the health system to provide advanced clinical procedures, including central lines, chest tube insertion, intubations, etc. Work Experience Education & Training: Physician Assistant with appropriate licensure and credentialing to practice under the supervision of a physician in the state of Maryland. Credentialing: through the Maryland Board as well as the health system in the provision of advanced practice skills. Work Orientation & Experience: A minimum of five years’ experience as a midlevel provider in an acute care setting; full-time clinical role at UCH.
