Job Summary

Travel ER RN – Adventure Awaits in Carlsbad, NM!

Location: Carlsbad, New MexicoStart: ASAPDuration: 13 WeeksShift: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

• Floating & call required

• Call: Minimum 2 hours prior to shift

Position Details

• Emergency Department | Level III Trauma Center

• EMR: Med Host (EDIS)

• Scrub Color: None – Full Uniform Required

• AUTO OFFERS ONLY – NO INTERVIEWS

Requirements

• 2+ years of ER experience

• Required Certifications:

  • ACLS

  • BLS

  • PALS

  • TNCC

  • ENPC

• NRP (preferred)

Important Notes

• No blocked scheduling

• No 48-hour guarantees

• Floating is required

• Max RTO: 1 request per schedule (6-week scheduling)

• Holiday Requirement: 1 Summer & 1 Winter (based on department needs)

What You’ll Do

As an ER RN, you’ll take full shift accountability for patient care, including:

• Performing comprehensive patient assessments

• Applying critical thinking and clinical judgment in high-pressure situations

• Administering medications and monitoring for side effects

• Coordinating care and delegating tasks effectively

• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation

• Upholding safety, infection control, and quality standards

You’ll be a leader on the floor—guiding care, anticipating needs, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for every patient.
