SENIOR INSIGHTS ANALYST

Summary: The Senior Insights Analyst serves as a strategic thought partner to Sales Operations and cross functional stakeholders by delivering advanced, insight driven analysis that shapes commercial strategy and business decisions. This role leads complex analyses using syndicated and internal data sources, translates insights into clear business implications, and influences strategy across Sales, Marketing, and R&D. The Senior Insights Analyst operates with a high degree of autonomy and plays a key role in evolving Trident Seafoods' insights capabilities. Essential Functions: * Leads advanced analysis and interpretation of third party syndicated POS data (e.g., Circana, Nielsen, Numerator) to assess market dynamics, category performance, pricing, and promotional effectiveness. * Translates complex data into concise, executive ready insights and recommendations that directly inform commercial strategy, customer planning, and innovation decisions. * Owns the development and evolution of high impact dashboards, recurring reports, and analytical frameworks to ensure relevance, accuracy, and scalability. * Acts as a strategic advisor to Sales, Marketing, and R&D stakeholders by proactively identifying opportunities, risks, and trends across categories and customers. * Synthesizes multiple data sources (syndicated data, internal sales data, research, and ad hoc analyses) into cohesive narratives that drive alignment and action. * Ensures data quality, methodological rigor, and analytical consistency across insights deliverables. * Partners with third party data vendors to optimize data usage, resolve issues, and identify enhancements aligned to business needs. * Coaches and mentors Insights Analysts by providing technical guidance, best practices, and feedback on storytelling and business impact. * Supports the organization's shift toward self-service analytics by developing standards, documentation, and training materials. * Regularly works onsite to collaborate cross functionally, strengthen partnerships, and drive real time problem solving. Compensation & Benefits: This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $115,000 to $130,000. Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package. More information can be found at Minimum Requirements Required Qualifications: * A minimum of 5 years of experience in insights, analytics, category management, or a related role leveraging syndicated data (e.g., Circana, Nielsen, Numerator) in CPG, retail, or foodservice environments. * Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, consumer insights, marketing, sales, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Education & Experiences: * Experience supporting senior Sales or Marketing leaders and influencing strategy through insights. * Prior experience mentoring or leading analysts in an individual contributor capacity. * Category management support, shopper insights, or account management experience. * Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce. * Familiarity with innovation, portfolio strategy, or commercialization analytics. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): * Experience in retail/CPG and/or foodservice environments. * Demonstrated experience interpreting pricing and promotional activity * Strong data analysis and organizational skills with the ability to interpret and communicate market and category trends. * Proficiency with data visualization and analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Excel. * Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear, strategic insights and recommendations. * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner across functions. * Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain data integrity, and adapt to evolving business needs.
