Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (Perinatal) position requiring BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications with charge nurse capability and a night shift schedule.

Details

• Work in the Perinatal unit of an acute care hospital setting
• Unit includes 6 LDRP rooms, 2 triage rooms, 5 postpartum/well-baby rooms, and 2 NICU beds in the nursery
• Facility delivers approximately 80–90 births per month
• Patient ratios follow AWHONN standards
• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Floating may be required to Mother Baby unit
• No floating to other units outside of the perinatal department
• Charting system is Centricity (experience preferred); medications are charted in Paragon
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact state license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• L&D nursing experience required
• Charge nurse experience or demonstrated ability to take charge required
• Centricity EMR experience strongly preferred

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients in an LDRP setting
• No charge nurse duties will be assigned in this travel role
