Senior Product Manager, YouTube Shorts Growth and UI Acceleration

Drive end-to-end user conversion funnels across YouTube’s primary surfaces into Shorts, identifying immediate, high-leverage UI and trigger tactics that maximize click-through, session activation, and viewing depth.Design, test, and scale self-reinforcing growth loops, onboarding experiences, and re-engagement mechanics that convert casual or first-time viewers into habitual daily consumers.Operate a rigorous, high-throughput A/B testing pipeline—rapidly translating data insights into lightweight tactical experiments to prove out metric levers before scaling long-term product investments.Partner with Data Science and Engineering to instrument granular funnel telemetry, dissect cohort-level drop-offs, and model ROI to ruthlessly prioritize tactics that move top-line engagement metrics.Establish repeatable growth playbooks through cross-functional collaboration across core YouTube teams to scale winning UI patterns globally.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.4 years of experience driving consumer product growth, user acquisition, funnel conversion optimization, or end-to-end product execution.Experience in product management focused on consumer mobile experiences, as well as top-of-funnel entry points or user onboarding/activation flows.Experience using quantitative funnel analysis and A/B experimentation to drive growth metrics.Preferred qualifications:Experience as a dedicated Growth PM leading user acquisition, onboarding, funnel conversion optimization (CRO), and retention loops for large-scale consumer mobile apps or short-form video platforms.Exceptional cross-functional influence and technical/design partnership skills at a senior level, with demonstrated success driving shared roadmaps across multiple partner engineering and UX teams.Deep fluency in quantitative growth analytics, cohort modeling, funnel diagnostics, and scripting to independently uncover metric bottlenecks and size tactical opportunities.Proven track record of "growth hacking" at scale—designing high-cadence A/B test pipelines, extracting signal from noisy experiments, and compounding incremental wins into step-change metric growth.YouTube Shorts is one of YouTube’s fastest-growing product ecosystems, reaching billions of users globally every month. Sitting at the intersection of quantitative growth strategy, mobile UI mechanics, and cross-surface discovery, you will partner closely with Engineering, UX Design, and Data Science across multiple YouTube platform teams to rapidly test hypotheses, validate metric movers, and scale winning growth playbooks globally.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
