Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior AWS DevOps / Security Automation Engineer to build the automation layer supporting a large cyber-resilience and security program.

This role is heavily focused on Terraform, Python, CI/CD, GitOps, AWS automation, EKS security, and recovery orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop automation integrating AWS security components with enterprise CI/CD environments.
• Build reusable Terraform modules across multi-account AWS environments.
• Develop automated AWS account provisioning with mandatory baseline security controls.
• Automate isolated recovery and clean-room infrastructure.
• Build CI/CD security gates covering code scanning, artifact validation, hashing, and deployment controls.
• Develop recovery orchestration using AWS Step Functions.
• Create automated backup-integrity testing and recovery validation.
• Develop automation and operational tooling using Python.
• Support EKS security baseline implementation.
• Integrate infrastructure automation into GitOps workflows.
• Produce reusable IaC templates, runbooks, and administration documentation.
