Healthcare Data Entry Specialist

Job Title: Healthcare Data Entry Specialist Location: ONSITE at Louisville, KY 40223 Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am – 4:30 pm EST Pay: Starting pay at $14.00 hourly General Summary The Healthcare Data Entry Specialist is responsible for inputting healthcare data into the required format, ensuring accuracy and completion in the process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Key outside data into the necessary operating system. Manage, organize and properly follow up on accounts requiring clarification to ensure timely capture. Maintenance of incoming and outgoing mail. System updates performed to notate returned mail. Maintain quality and production goals set by leadership. Maintain confidentiality of account information at all times. Maintain awareness of and actively participate in the Corporate Compliance Program. Maintain a neat and orderly workstation. Assist with other projects as assigned by leadership. Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations High school diploma or equivalent is required. Proficient PC knowledge and the ability to type 50 wpm with at least 95% accuracy and excellent organization skills. Ability to effectively work and communicate with coworkers. Ability to present oneself in a courteous and professional manner at all times. Reliability of task completion and follow-up. Working Conditions Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
