Rehab Physical Therapist Assistant

As a Rehab Physical Therapist Assistant at Encompass Health, you’ll support licensed physical therapists in delivering evidence-based inpatient rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, and complex orthopedic conditions. Assist with therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, mobility interventions, and use of assistive devices. Track and document patient progress, ensure safety, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Contribute to care planning, patient and family education, and uphold a mission-driven, patient-centered culture focused on clinical excellence and functional recovery.
