Electrical SuperintendentMATRIX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our dynamic team. In this position, the Electrical Superintendent will be responsible for the overall field of execution. This position will be accountable for all pre-execution planning activities to ensure all necessary construction packages have been readied and available for use. The Electrical Superintendent will be responsible for all site execution matters, including direct-hire and subcontracted labor supervision, safe and timely performance of the work, and ensuring quality standards are upheld. The successful candidate will work directly with project management, personnel, craft supervision, engineering, and subcontractors to ensure outage work is executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.Duration: 3 MonthsWork Schedule: 5 - 10 hr days with potential to vary between 4 -10's and 6 - 10's depending on scopeLocation: Tuckasegee, NCEssential Functions & Responsibilities:Prepare and develop a construction team of experienced and capable supervisory personnel, including succession planning for key individuals.Develop and maintain a hiring plan and ensure labor relations issues are pro-actively managedResponsible for all site execution matters, including the timely performance of the workAccountable for all site safety and human performance issues, and for collaborating with the project Safety ManagerMaintain a positive relationship with client construction counterpartUtilize project master schedule to create detailed look ahead schedules.Monitor and manage risks, develop recovery strategies when project schedule or budget is in jeopardy.Assume responsibility for productivity of direct hire trade labor and subcontractors, efficient use of materials and tools & equipment and contractual performance of the projectApplication of home company discipline policies and appropriate escalation of performance concerns.Ensure trades personnel complete all necessary training in areas of safety, quality assurance, technical qualifications, equipment operation and owner specified requirements.Manage employee Onboarding and Offboarding including communication with payroll and training coordinators.Ensure project is constructed in compliance with drawings, specifications, Field WorkEnsure a strong nuclear safety culture is reinforced continuouslyOther duties as required or assignedRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of nuclear construction and subcontractor supervision experience or equivalent.Journeyman electrical experience and Industrial electrical experience required.Must have the ability to handle all matters in a confidential and professional manner.Excellent organizational, communication, and customer relationship skills.Extensive knowledge of self-perform trades work, estimating and schedule inputs.
