Job Title

Travel RN – Med Surg / Telemetry Short Stay (Nights, 4x12)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift | 4x12 (19:00–07:00) | 13 Weeks | 48 Hours Weekly Guaranteed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adult patients on a Med Surg/Telemetry unit
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort
• Provide care for a mixed patient population of approximately 50% Medical and 50% Telemetry adult patients with ratios of 4–6:1
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
• Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units
• Function within the scope of nursing practice consistent with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and established nursing guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of Telemetry nursing experience
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 through April 1

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Strong team-oriented approach with a focus on positive patient outcomes and superior communication skills
