Rutgers University Correctional Healthcare is seeking a Part‑time Staff Nurse for Edna Mahan Correctional Facility in Clinton, NJ. The Nurse uses the nursing process to address a range of health‑care needs with an emphasis on ambulatory care, collaborating with health‑care professionals and security staff within the correctional setting. Provides direct and indirect nursing care for inmate‑patients, including adults (18‑64 years) and geriatrics (65+), following the correctional system framework. Communicates respectfully, demonstrating concern and courtesy in all interpersonal relationships. Uses up‑to‑date knowledge to promote a safe health‑care environment for inmates. FLSA: Nonexempt Grade: 01D Salary: Minimum $37.23 k – Mid $46.54 k – Max $54.05 k. Final offer depends on qualifications, experience, and funding availability.
