Senior Project Manager AI Solutions

Job Summary:

The Senior Project/Product Manager AI Solutions & Digital Transformation will lead and manage Agile program delivery for AI and software development initiatives within a federal government context. This role involves overseeing AI solution implementation, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance with governance and security standards on approved cloud and enterprise platforms. Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI and software development projects.
• Manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate Joint Development Team activities between government and contractor personnel.
• Maintain project schedules, risk registers, issue logs, and status reports.
• Develop and manage product roadmaps and project backlogs.
• Support AI use-case evaluation and prioritization.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical stakeholders.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, quality, and delivery performance.
• Support AI governance, security compliance, and deployment planning.
• Prepare executive briefings, reports, and project documentation.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of IT Project/Program Management experience.
• Minimum 5 years managing Agile software development projects.
• Experience supporting Federal Government programs.
• Experience managing cloud-based application development projects.
• Proficiency in Agile Project Management and Scrum Methodology.
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Program governance, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Budget and schedule management expertise.
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining/maintaining Public Trust suitability.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with FEMA or DHS programs.
• PMP Certification.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
• Experience managing AI/ML initiatives.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, and ServiceNow platforms.

Special Considerations:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
• Work involves coordination with government personnel and contractors.
