Production Worker- 3rd Shift

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLDdivision is currently seeking a Production Worker - 3rd Shift at our Troy, IL facility! The core hours are Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The rate for this position is $20.45 per hour plus an additional $.50 cent per hour shift premium. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do: The Production Worker will work in all departments of the manufacturing plant – Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, Layout – doing various manual labor jobs. Some departments are more physically demanding, however, the general laborer should be capable of handling the work in all departments on a daily basis. In this function, you will: Perform packaging and assembly tasks according to production standards. Set up materials and components in alignment with shop order specifications. Stack, band, and secure parts for safe handling and transport. Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with workstation setup. Create barcodes and accurately label finished products. Cutting material using a band saw while following all safety procedures. Handle materials efficiently to support smooth workflow and production needs. Basic Qualifications: Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship. Position Success Criteria: Must be able to frequently carry 10-34 pounds and occasionally carry 35-100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to frequently crouch, kneel, balance, reach above shoulder level, push, and pull with or without reasonable accommodation.
