Maintenance TechnicianIncreases at week 18 and 36. Can request to start someone at pay level 2.Shifts/Schedule: (moving to days is a bid system and based on seniority)MT 1 and 2 – 4:45p-5a / swing shift2, 2, 3 which is 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on – so in a 14 day period they work 7 days and have off every other Fri, Sat, Sun.(ex. work Mon/Tue, off Wed/Thurs, work Fri, Sat, Sun; off Mon/Tue, work Wed, Thurs and off Fri, Sat, Sun)9 hours OT built in to schedule every other week; additional OT availableMT 3 – normally M-F days but open to any shift (have to be heavy PLC – programming and commissioning drives)General information: Tell everyone:Background check, drug test, physical and education verificationNon smoking campus (can not leave at lunch, no time)PPEHS diploma, GED, Associates, BS or noneBremen:Good work historyDetailed resumeNot just a bodyProfessionalProcess – technical questions from the maintenance supervisors, they review and decide who they want to bring onsite to interview, if you pass that then there is testing (2-2.5 hours)Link to see the campus (this is a little old – we have already completed the construction and are building more)• General Question:How many years have you been doing industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment?Can you read a schematic diagram? What is it used for?Have you worked with hydraulics and/or pneumatics?Do you have experience with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens programming for PLC and drives?What are the functions of a multimeter?How much electrical work have you done? Would you consider yourself a Journeyman or Apprentice?What is a III phase motor - describe it?On a 480v system, what volt should you read from phase to ground (277v is answer)What is a high value capacitor? Answer: A semiconductor device with two terminals, typically allowing the flow of current in one direction only.What is an amplifier circuit?Must have experience working on machines and have a working knowledge of AC/DC Motor controls, and circuitry.Must be mechanically strong and able to figure out things quickly by looking at a diagram and/or issues.
