Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• NBRC certification and BLS certification required and active at time of submission
• Ohio RRT license required and active at time of submission
• CRT or RRT accepted
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty (from the past 12 months)
• Must be nicotine-free (negative nicotine/cotinine drug screen required)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to float to other CCF facilities as needed; all Cleveland Clinic work history must be included in your profile

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care and pulmonary support to patients in an acute hospital setting
• Perform respiratory assessments, oxygen therapy, aerosolized treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document all respiratory care and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and compliance standards
• Float to other units or Cleveland Clinic facilities as needed
• Work weekends and night shifts as required by the facility
• Participate in required orientation and annual training modules
