Registered Nurse

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit settings. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU. A current license and required certifications must be obtained prior to employment. The work schedule typically involves night shifts with a patient ratio of 1:2. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. The unit manages a variety of medical diagnoses including sepsis, CHF, and respiratory failure. Candidates will perform bedside procedures and care for critically ill patients. Strong skills in ventilator management, IV medication administration, and EKG interpretation are essential. Teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration are critical components of this role. Applicants should be able to manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction. Attendance and punctuality are necessary for contract compliance. This position may include floating to adult inpatient areas based on staffing needs.
