Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a pivotal role providing expertise in school psychology for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals committed to supporting student growth and well-being. You’ll primarily work with primary and elementary students, offering evaluation and assessment services, with occasional support for a broader pre-K through 12th grade caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist.
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, particularly with primary and elementary populations.
- Strong understanding of child development, learning differences, and behavioral interventions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate closely with other school psychologists and educational professionals across the district.
- Provide consultation and support for teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs.
- Prepare detailed, clear reports outlining assessment results and recommendations.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Support the implementation of intervention strategies and monitor student progress.
