Beautiful Seacoast area with four seasons, 55 minutes from Boston. Expanding private, non‑profit community mental health center seeks an Adult Psychiatrist to join a staff of ten psychiatrists for outpatient care. Vibrant collegial atmosphere with competitive salary and benefits.
The Adult Psychiatrist will provide care to adults with a range of psychiatric diagnoses. Responsibilities include conducting outpatient psychiatric evaluations, maintaining treatment plans, prescribing medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective care delivery in alignment with best practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations.
- Maintain and update treatment plans.
- Prescribe and monitor medications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Completion of an accredited residency program in general adult psychiatry.
- License to practice medicine in the State of New Hampshire. A valid DEA license.
- Board certification in general adult psychiatry. If the applicant has completed their residency within the past 5 years, must complete board certification within 5 years from the date of completion of training.
