- Technical Project/Program Management - Technical Program Manager IVApply**Job#: 3039136****Job Description:**Technical Program Manager IV**Location:** Sunnyvale, California (Onsite)Compensation: $116 - $126 hourlyRole OverviewThe main function of a Technical Program Manager is to provide successful definition, implementation and delivery of complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies across a group of projects and/or related activities. This role involves program-level strategic planning, interaction with executive level management, complex issue resolution, and team building. The position requires oversight of project scope, requirements gathering, time estimating, and project schedule development.Key Responsibilities* Deliver programs within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget.* Manage a group or groups of internal and matrixed employees and contractors to deliver systems and systems enhancements.* Oversee project scope definition and management, requirements gathering, and documentation.* Handle time estimating, project schedule development and tracking, and project budget management.* Conduct project status reporting, issue and risk management, and contingency planning.* Manage customer interaction and communications across multiple organizational levels.Required Qualifications**Education:** A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.**Skills:*** Experience with project estimating, project scheduling & tracking, and implementation planning in large organizations.* Proven people management and team-building skills.* Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities.* Ability to learn business processes and work with business partners at different levels within the organization.* Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications and business functions.* Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.* Experience with the software development lifecycle.* Proficiency with Word is required.Preferred Qualifications* An MBA or other related advanced degree is preferred.* PMP or PMI certification is preferred. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
