LMSW / LMHC Substance Abuse Counselor

We are seeking a self-motivated Substance Use Counselor to join our team! We are currently taking applications for CASAC-Ts, CASACs, MHCs, LMSWs, LCSWs, and LMFTs . The ideal candidate will display strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work with diverse population , and strong documentation and organizational skills.

Applicants must have a certification or license in CASAC-T, CASAC, MHC, LMSW, or LCSW

Responsibilities:

• Counsel and advise individuals or groups with substance abuse problems
• Develop and implement individual treatment plans
• Establish treatment goals and milestones with clients
• Prepare progress reports and letters for relevant parties
• Educate families and groups on substance abuse treatments and prevention programs
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare or counseling professionals

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in counseling, social work, or other related fields
• Experience in conflict resolution
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
