# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (PACU) – Kansas

Start Date: September 22, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, Seasonal Travel Assignment

Highlights:

• 30-bed Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a busy acute care medical center
• Patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 based on acuity level
• Meditech EMR system
• Diverse case mix including craniotomies and orthopedic procedures
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 12 recovery room nurses
• On-call rotation required with 30-minute response time

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PACU RN experience
• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Flexibility with scheduling preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
