CNA Scheduler

CNA SchedulerResponsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living in order to promote resident independence and dignity. Also responsible for facility scheduling.Essential Functions:Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, and perform nail care of any residents assignedFollow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurseLift, move, and transfer residents as requiredAnswer call lights in a timely mannerAssist or feed residentsKeep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent careProvide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residentsMonthly schedule development based on facility budgeted PPDComplete and post daily scheduleComplete daily staffing sheet postings and maintain one year of postingsWork to replace staff for Vacation/sick requests, call in's, absenteeismTrack attendance of clinical team membersWork on the floor as a CNA or CMA as neededParticipate in on call schedule as assignedUnderstand and adhere to the guidelines of "Residents Rights" and assure resident safetyOther duties as assignedQualifications:Required:High school diploma or equivalent (GED)Current Nurse Aide certification in the state of TexasMust be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the state of Texas and Misconduct RegistryAbility to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in EnglishAbility to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residentsPreferred:Experience in long term care/skilled nursingCPR CertifiedPhysical Requirements: The ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, and reaching up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationsWork Schedule: As assigned; including some weekends evenings and holidaysWork Environment: ClinicalCaraday Healthcare provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, or any other characteristic protected by law.
