Job Title: Production Assembler Job Description

Join a dynamic team where you will work with hand tools to assemble and inspect metal parts, ensuring they meet customer specifications. You will be responsible for handling 25-50 parts daily, depending on production needs. Adhere to work instructions to ensure assembly meets required standards and complete necessary documentation such as reports and reject forms.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and inspect metal parts using hand tools.

• Ensure all parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.

• Follow work instructions for correct assembly procedures.

• Complete documentation including reports, orders, and reject forms.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience using hand tools.

• 1+ years of experience in parts manufacturing.

• Ability to use a tape measure accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and gauges is preferred.

Work Environment

The work schedule consists of multiple shifts. The first shift typically runs from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with 10-hour shifts from 4:30 am to 3 pm. The second shift operates from 3 pm to 11:30 pm or 3:30 pm to 12 am, with extended hours from 3 pm to 1:30 am for 10-hour shifts. A tape measure test will be part of the interview process to ensure competency.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hannibal, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.73 - $22.23/hr.
