Production Operator – 1st ShiftGTRJ OBS is hiring a dependable Production Operator for a specialized manufacturing position. This role works with commercial autoclaves and curing ovens used to manufacture durable rubber seals and components. The Production Operator is responsible for helping control the time, temperature, and pressure required during the curing process. Attention to detail is important because each product must be cured to the correct specifications to meet quality standards.Job ResponsibilitiesOperate or assist with commercial autoclaves and curing ovensFollow detailed build and production specificationsMonitor production requirements to ensure products are cured properlyMeasure materials accurately using a tape measure, ruler, and other measuring toolsUse basic hand tools including scissors, metal rollers, hole punches, hammers, tape measures, rulers, and trianglesHandle and work with heavy tools and materialsPerform repetitive production tasks while maintaining quality standardsInspect work carefully and help minimize scrapMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety and production proceduresRequirementsGood basic math skillsAbility to accurately read and use a tape measureExperience using basic hand toolsAbility to read and follow detailed build specificationsStrong attention to detailGood hand-eye coordinationAbility to work independentlyDependable attendance and reliable transportationAbility to regularly lift 50 pounds or moreAbility to perform repetitive heavy liftingManufacturing or machine operating experience is preferredPhysical & Work Environment Requirements This is a physical manufacturing position.
