Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in La Porte, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience through strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post. Guided by a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will make a meaningful impact with integrity and teamwork every day.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed conditions and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and unloading areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related protocols.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with visitor processing, vehicle access, and/or credential checks in accordance with location procedures.
- Observe shipping, receiving, and warehouse activity for policy concerns, report maintenance and/or security-related issues, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
