Growing together.The Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Hospitalist Program provides specialized, efficient and coordinated care for our hospitalized patients. The nocturnal hospitalist observes his or her patient's status, progress and test results up to several times, as needed.Primary Responsibilities:Responding to ER calls and admitting patients in the assigned hospital(s) 7pm to 7am (number of shifts can be decided amongst the team to ensure coverage every night)The nocturnal hospitalist will be required to stay in house for the duration of the shift. They will be responsible for all calls regarding admissions to Baylor St. Luke's Medical CenterThe nocturnal hospitalist will not be the primary on Kelsey-Seybold patients admitted to the intensive care units at Baylor St. Luke's Medical CenterExpected to efficiently manage patients in hospital and interact with specialists to coordinate the careTransition the follow up care to the daytime hospitalist safely and effectivelyParticipate in hospital committees, initiatives, and KSC Hospital Service/IM Department activitiesYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $125.00 to 186.86 per hour. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.
