Location: Texas State University: Chick‑fil‑A on campus–San Marcos, TX Salary: $50,000–$57,000 Job Summary Chartwells Higher Education (university dining) is hiring an energetic and growth‑minded Assistant Director of Dining Services at Texas State University. In this key leadership role you will be responsible for day‑to‑day food service operations of Chick‑fil‑A on campus, managing and leading a team of 60 associates, overseeing talent development, client relationships, profitability, and supporting the financial goals of this retail dining location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve top‑quality food. Implement new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary teams. Maintain excellent relationships with the client. Manage, train, and develop associates. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 1 to 3 years of food service management experience. Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations. Strong leadership and communication skills. Financial experience and business acumen. Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet). Associate's degree is preferred.
