Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU

Cardiac/Thoracic/CV ICU RN

Night shift, 36 hours per week. Weekends: Up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per block. Rotating holidays.

Assignment Details

Orientation: 36 hours.

Requirements

• Active RN license (compact or state).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 2 years of Cardiac ICU/CVICU experience preferred.
• Prior travel experience preferred.
• Epic charting experience required.
• References: 2 professional references required (at least 1 from a manager/supervisor).

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
• Manage ventilators and respiratory support.
• Caring for patients with VAD, ECMO, and other high-acuity devices.
• Deliver post-operative care for complex cardiac surgeries.
• Administer and manage IVs and vasoactive medications.
• Monitor and support conscious sedation procedures.

Compliance / Notes

Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only). Candidates must complete fingerprinting immediately after signing contract.
