Pharmacist - Per Diem

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Pharmacy Operations Manager, process medication orders resulting in patients receiving safe and effective drug therapy. Provide supervision to Pharmacy Technicians assisting in these processes. Experience 1-3 years hospital pharmacy experience and/or including residencies/fellowships preferred. BLS and ACLS certification preferred, required within first year of employment. Education Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university required. Work Schedule Weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary. Physical Requirements Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g., preparing IV admixtures, use of a computer keyboard). Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds. May require lifting and carrying light loads (e.g., boxes, equipment, unit dose cassettes, IV solutions) and stooping or kneeling (e.g., to pick up items from the floor, to remove and replace items on lower shelves, and to file documents in lower file drawer). Walking or standing for long periods of time (4-8 hours) often necessary. Must be able to physically operate the equipment used in the job. Bi-Weekly Hours: 0 The minimum starting rate for this position is $65.00 When determining a team members base rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of recent relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
