Retail Sales Associate

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Retail Sales Associate . In this role, you will be responsible for providing a positive guest experience that exceeds expectations through effective and efficient retail operations.


As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love -guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service, ensuring a positive final impression of the shopping experience. You'll maintain organized workspaces and assist team members to keep store operations running smoothly.

Pay rate: Starting $13.50/hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and ascertain their wants/needs.
• Open and close Micros system.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges and security practices.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires, providing up-selling opportunities when appropriate.
• Answer questions regarding the store, resort, and merchandise.

What We're Looking For

• Basic business administration and general knowledge of principles and practices of a retail environment preferred.
• Experience in retail, customer service or sales environment preferred.
• Knowledge of micros systems, computers, and other office equipment is preferred.
