School Audiologist

Overview The Delta‑T Group is a referral agency that connects qualified professionals with short- and long-term independent contract opportunities. One of our clients is seeking a School‑Based Audiologist to support multiple schools within the district, including elementary and high schools. This role is part‑time, 20 hours per week during the school year, with potential extension into the next school year. The audiologist will address students’ hearing, auditory processing, and communication needs through evaluations, consultations, and direct services as appropriate. The candidate will collaborate with educators, special‑education teams, and families to ensure students have access to instruction and effective communication in the educational environment. Responsibilities Conduct hearing screenings and diagnostic evaluations. Consult with IEP teams and support assistive listening devices. Contribute to eligibility and service recommendations. Complete all documentation and reporting in accordance with district procedures. Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology (AuD preferred). Valid state licensure in Audiology. ASHA certification (preferred or required depending on district). Experience in school‑based settings preferred. Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations. Strong collaboration and communication skills for multidisciplinary team settings. Ability to support IEP teams and provide consultation services.
