OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in East Poultney, VT by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Drive long-haul dry van routes nationwide from East Poultney, VT with HMD Trucking as a solo OTR CDL‑A operator. You’ll run dependable freight lanes, earn starting pay at 65¢/mile with weekly averages near 2,500 miles, and qualify for safety and referral bonuses. Our late‑model trucks (under 3 years) include APUs, inverters and sleepers and are supported by in‑house maintenance to keep you rolling.

Your Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and deliver freight in compliance with DOT/FMCSA rules.
• Perform pre/post‑trip inspections and secure loads.
• Maintain logs, paperwork and clear communication with dispatch.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL‑A and 12+ months verifiable driving experience. Full benefits and biweekly home time provided.
