Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security‑related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.33 / Hour Job Schedule Sat: 08:00 AM – 08:00 PM Sun: 08:00 AM – 08:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directional support, and other security‑related duties common to a healthcare location. Support a professional environment by reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience. Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements. Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes morgue access or exposure. Provide proof of high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
