• Seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our aerospace and defense manufacturing team.
• The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and/or Swiss machines using existing CNC programs to produce precision-machined components that meet customer and quality requirements.
• CNC programming is not required for this position.

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and/or Swiss machines using existing CNC programs.
• Perform machine changeovers, tooling installation, and fixture setup.
• Load, verify, and execute approved CNC programs.
• Adjust tool offsets and machine parameters to maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Apply GD&T requirements during machining and inspection.
• Replace cutting tools and monitor tool wear.
• Troubleshoot machining issues with Engineering and Quality.
• Complete production and inspection documentation.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow all safety, AS9100, and quality procedures.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.

• 3 years of CNC machining experience operating and setting up CNC mills, lathes, and/or Swiss machines.
• Experience performing machine setups using existing CNC programs.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, indicators, and thread gauges.
• Strong math skills including decimals and fractions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds.

• Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.
• Experience in an AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 environment.
• Strong GD&T knowledge.
• Experience machining aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, and similar alloys.
• Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Mitsubishi, or similar CNC controls.

• High School Diploma or GED.
