Work Environment

The work environment is primarily onsite as you will be providing care in patients' homes throughout Gulf Hammock and its neighboring communities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities to establish baseline data for therapy interventions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that address specific rehabilitation goals based on ongoing assessments.
• Perform a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to promote recovery and end-user well-being.
• Regularly document patient progress, noting achievements and areas needing adjustment, to ensure treatment effectiveness and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise programs, injury prevention measures, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices and adapt to new methodologies that improve patient care and rehabilitation success.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare providers involved in the patient's care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions that impair mobility and function. Your focus will be to evaluate each patient's unique situation, strengths, and limitations in order to construct a dynamic and effective treatment plan. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist license valid in Florida.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a physical therapy setting or related healthcare field.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
