Job Summary:

Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse position in Albany, Georgia. This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients with complex surgical and trauma conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Albany, Georgia


• Division: Acute


• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, including STICU in level 1-2 trauma centers. Experience with neuro, ortho trauma, cardiovascular devices such as balloon pumps and Impellas, ECMO program, and bedside CRRT required.


• Certifications: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)


• EMR: MEDITECH


• Schedule: Nights shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., every other weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.


• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit, active certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, 2 years ICU experience, and at least 36 hours per week commitment.


• Additional Information: Candidates must have ICU or Surgical ICU experience, including specialized training on devices like CRRT and cardiovascular supports. Strict 75-mile radius restriction applies.
