Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor and Delivery setting during night shift hours
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Administer medications, interpret fetal monitoring strips, and respond to obstetric emergencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately within the electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a valid Compact state nursing license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Must reside within an 80-mile radius of the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification or equivalent experience
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
