Pay or shift range: $20.98 USD to $24.94 USD. This is the expected pay range for this position. Final offers are based on various factors including skill set, relevant experience, qualifications, and other job-related considerations. Description Multiple Full-Time and Part-Time Shifts Available Hourly Rate: $20.98 - $24.94 Grade 14 Join our Mental Health Transitional Living Program and help individuals with serious mental illness build independence, stability, and everyday life skills. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll support residents in a structured, community-based setting. Key Responsibilities Qualified Mental Health Staff (QMHS) in compliance with NYS OMH regulations Manage a caseload and develop Individualized Action Plans (IAPs) Provide daily living skills training (ADLs), coaching, and recovery-based support Monitor and document residents’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed support Oversee medication administration , documentation, and med counts Coordinate care with healthcare providers, social services, and community resources Facilitate groups and skill-building activities Maintain a safe, structured, home‑like environment Complete accurate documentation and Medicaid billing records Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field Associate’s degree + 3 years experience in a mental health setting Skills & Experience Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness (SMI); co-occurring SUD/DD preferred Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in crisis situations Team-oriented with the ability to work independently Compassionate, respectful, and non-judgmental approach Additional Requirements Valid NYS Driver’s License with acceptable driving record Reliable transportation for client-related travel Ability to navigate stairs and respond to emergency situations Why Apply?
