Teller I Job ID: 156539 LOCATION Colleyville, TX 76034 | Onsite COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • $18.00–$20.00 per hour • Contract-to-hire • W2 employment ROLE IMPACT As a Teller I, you will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering accurate financial transactions and exceptional service while protecting customer assets and maintaining regulatory compliance. Success in this role is measured by transaction accuracy, balanced cash handling, strong customer relationships, and the ability to identify opportunities to introduce additional banking products and services. • Process customer deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, mortgage payments, official checks, money orders, and other banking transactions accurately and efficiently. • Verify customer identity, signatures, available funds, and transaction details in accordance with bank policies and security procedures. • Balance cash drawer, maintain currency and coin supplies, and follow all cash handling and reconciliation procedures. • Assist customers with safety deposit box access, account service requests, address changes, stop payments, cash advances, night depository processing, and mail transactions. • Deliver outstanding customer service while identifying appropriate opportunities to recommend additional bank products and services. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Previous teller experience with demonstrated cash handling and balancing accuracy. • Strong math, communication, and customer service skills. • Basic computer proficiency, 10-key by touch, and typing speed of at least 25 WPM. CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS • Cash handling and balancing systems • Banking transaction processing systems • Microsoft Office and standard computer applications • 10-key keypad and office equipment • Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance procedures, including CTRs and monetary instrument logs PREFERRED SKILLS • Experience working in a retail banking environment. • Ability to build customer relationships through consultative service and cross-selling. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
