Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Tuesday Start Dates

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk OB care across a Labor & Delivery and OB Emergency Department setting on a 23-bed unit
• Manage and monitor patients receiving magnesium drips and insulin drips
• Perform intermediate fetal monitoring and respond appropriately to changes in maternal-fetal status
• Circulate and scrub for obstetric surgical procedures as needed
• Maintain a 2:1 patient ratio during night shift alongside a team of 4–6 RNs, 1 CST, and 1 Secretary
• Fulfill an on-call requirement of approximately 1 shift every 4 weeks; float within the Women's service line (Postpartum/Antepartum) as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of travel RN experience in high-risk OB Labor & Delivery
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Availability to work 2 major winter holidays and 1 minor winter holiday; any requested time off must be facility-approved, with 3 shifts expected during those weeks

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an OB Emergency Department (OBED) setting
• Background in high-risk, high-volume obstetric environments
• Familiarity with CPN/Meditech EMR systems
