Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN for the CVICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary nursing for a 1:1 ratio for immediate post-surgical patients.
• Provide care for 1:2 ratio for POD 1-3 patients.
• Utilize Meditech Expanse for documentation and care management.
• Maintain flexibility to float to other units with the same staffing ratios.
• Contribute to a new cardiac surgery program with advanced procedures.
• Adhere to a schedule of 36 hours and 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience with fresh cardiac surgery patients required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required.
• Experience with balloon pumps, Impella, and Hemodynamics desired.
• Familiarity with Hemosphere or Acumen training is beneficial.
• Ability to wear a Navy Blue uniform as per unit guidelines.
• Flexibility and willingness to uphold hospital-specific patient experience standards.
