Project Manager, Data Centre (Electrical) We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager with a strong electrical background to lead the successful delivery of data center and mission‑critical construction projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and within scope, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and technical excellence. Responsibilities Managing the electrical scope of large‑scale data center and mission‑critical projects from initiation through completion. Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with client and internal objectives. Leading coordination between engineering teams, field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and general contractors (GCs). Overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of medium and low voltage systems, UPS, generators, switchgear, and grounding systems. Monitoring field progress and ensuring compliance with NFPA, NEC, and local electrical codes. Managing procurement activities, including submittals, material purchasing, and vendor coordination. Identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation plans to avoid schedule or budget impacts. Preparing and delivering regular project reports, updates, and cost analyses to leadership and stakeholders. Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Driving a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all project phases. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Proven experience as a Project Manager within the electrical construction or data center industry. In-depth understanding of power distribution, UPS systems, switchgear, and grounding within mission‑critical environments. Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or Primavera. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple priorities effectively. PMP certification or similar credentials (preferred but not required). Day‑to‑Day Conduct project coordination meetings and progress reviews. Update schedules, budgets, and submittals to reflect current project status. Support field operations by addressing technical or logistical challenges. Communicate daily with vendors and subcontractors to ensure material readiness.
