This hands-on role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and improving equipment and facilities to support safe and efficient operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving mechanical and electrical challenges, values teamwork, and is looking to build a long-term career with a stable and growing company.ObjectivesSupport manufacturing goals for safety, quality, delivery, and costAchieve machine availability targets through active troubleshooting and preventative maintenanceSupport process improvements and participate in Kaizen project teamsPosition reports to the Maintenance SupervisorResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair plant equipment: mechanical, electrical, pneumaticSupport proactive, preventative maintenance activityAssist in changeovers and setupsSupport critical spares and tooling orders by logging usageSupport equipment installation and relocationParticipate in process improvement projects/teamsOccasionally travel for site visits to support new equipment runoffs or trialsCompliance with PPE and safety rules for work assignmentsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required3 years of maintenance experience: preferably with mechanical, electrical, and pneumaticsStrong work habits: punctuality, attendance, work ethic, professionalism, communicationWorking knowledge of OSHA standards for maintenanceAbility to work individually and with others to continually improve our companyAbility to read and use blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawingsAbility to use hand tools, measurement tools, power tools, crane, forklift, scissor lift, and boom liftAbility to stand, reach, and bend.
