Project Manager

OBJECTIVE As a Project Manager you will be an integral part of the CEC team. We help customers run their organizations better through the technology solutions we provide – and you can be part of this essential mission. The Project Manager leads projects to ensure optimal performance and peak efficiencies while overseeing completion of developed company and team goals. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Project Notification: Ensure the customer is contacted within 48 hours of project approval. Review overall project objectives and milestones with the customer, establishing communication strategy. Coordinate project information provision from Sales and Engineering to Operations. Set and maintain project-related tasks, timelines, and resources. Conduct risk assessments, impact analyses, and solution development; secure necessary safety certifications. Create project plans with specific milestones to achieve overall project budgets and timelines. Assist in the creation of Gantt charts, risk registers, and site safety plans as required. Adjust project plans and communicate changes throughout the project lifecycle to all stakeholders. Review system functionality, schedules, and plans with the customer; oversee site walkthroughs for security verification. Lead and coordinate kick‑off meetings, reviewing project milestones and safety hazards. Provide input on project management processes, procedures, tools, and best practice improvements for Sales and Engineering. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are submitted for customer sign‑off. Support Service Tickets completion, volunteer support, and maintain compliance with CEC’s 24/7 On‑Call rotation. Assist with physical requirements, such as climbing and understanding English communication. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES The Project Manager leads project team while working on assigned projects. QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of technology experience within a CEC‑like environment. 3+ years of leadership experience within a similar sized company. 2+ safety‑related certifications. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels. Strong organizational and conflict‑resolution skills, with a proactive, analytical mindset. Ability to handle stressful situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. High level of integrity, independence, and accountability. OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES General knowledge of communication systems, including audio, video, security, fire alarm, wireless, and data networks. PC proficiency is essential; strong working knowledge of Excel is required. PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS Employee must be able to climb ladders up to 12 feet high or be in a lift to extended heights. Must be able to stand, walk, climb, sit, and use hands and fingers for daily tasks. Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. Physical and hearing requirements typical of office work.
