Registered Nurse Employee Health - Part-Time

The Registered Nurse Employee Health is responsible for supporting workforce health through pre-placement screenings, return-to-work clearances, fit-for-duty evaluations, and annual health assessments. This role involves administering immunizations, tuberculosis surveillance, drug testing, respirator fit testing, and managing immunization compliance. The nurse communicates with staff, reviews lab results, and handles occupational exposures, including triaging exposures, ordering labs, and providing follow-up care. They participate in vaccination programs and educate team members on health protocols. The position requires 3+ years of clinical nursing experience , a valid Illinois RN license, BLS certification, and skills in documentation, assessment, and patient support. Flexibility to travel between sites, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.
